Bobby W. Sandage Jr., PhD

Bobby W. Sandage, Jr., Ph.D. is the managing director of the Paula and Rodger Riney Foundation.  He is responsible for the various scientific funding initiatives provided by the Foundation to researchers and institutions with the primary goal to find a cure for multiple myeloma.  Dr. Sandage has over 35 years of experience in drug development with both large pharmaceutical companies and small startup biotechs, and the past 10 years in venture capital investing in promising life science companies.  Dr. Sandage holds and has held board positions in both public and private biotech companies. He has an undergraduate degree in pharmacy and a doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy.

Jenna McClary

Jenna McClary is director of accounting at the Paula and Rodger Riney Foundation, overseeing the creation of the Foundation’s financial reporting package. She brings a variety of experience to the group from both public and private accounting.

Rodger Riney

Rodger O. Riney is the former CEO and founder of the discount brokerage firm Scottrade, which he sold to TD Ameritrade in 2017, two years after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma.

Following the sale of Scottrade, The Paula and Rodger Riney Foundation was established to fund scientific research leading to a better understanding and possible cure of multiple myeloma and related cancers.

Danae Bednar

Danae Bednar is administrative assistant/office manager at Paula and Rodger Riney Foundation, supporting office personnel administratively and overseeing general office needs. Prior to joining the Foundation, Bednar provided personal assistant services to two local executives since 2012.
